About Emma

I am a 19-year-old college student in Boston, I got a job 6 months into being at school at the Longwood medical area childcare center as a teacher assistant. I started off working with infants, aged 3-12 months old. I have since been moved to a classroom with 12-24-month-old children due to staffing. I love bringing smiles to the children's faces, watching them grow and excel and communicate with them. A few children are starting to potty train, but I would call myself a diaper changing speed queen. I have lots of experience with new children entering the classroom, and needing just the right amount of comfort while still allowing them to adapt to the new environment on their own. I have also been able to grow my creative mind through watching the teachers brainstorm and follow through with interactive crafts. I am coming home for the summer, and would love to continue making kids laugh. Also fully vaccinated!
