About Emily

Hi, I'm Emily! After graduating from FSU in 2019 (Go Noles!), I started my teaching career in Volusia County. Even though I've since moved on from classroom teaching to consulting, my love for learning and educating persists. Determined to keep learning in my life, I decided to continue tutoring on the side. I believe that education is a human right, and that all learners-- child and adult-- deserve the help they need to be successful. It's my privilege to be able to provide it. The idea that learning is most effective when it's engaging and enjoyable is central to my approach as an educator. For this reason, I strive to tailor my approach to the individual needs of each student. Currently, I offer individual and small group tutoring for all subjects for grades 2-9, most subjects for 10-12 (algebra-yes, calculus-no, etc.), and many college/adult learning courses.
