Hello, My name is Emily and I am in my early 20. I graduated from Illinois State University in 2014 and I am currently in my second year of teaching in an elementary school as a Deaf Education Teacher. I am 1 of 7 children in my family (number 5!), so I have experienced many years of babysitting! I joined care. com in 2014 and have since cared for many families- and continue to do so! Since I am a teacher, my availability is preferably date nights, summer and holiday breaks, and an occasional weekday. I enjoy building a relationship with children and find that I easily connect with them. While babysitting, I enjoy being active by going to the park, playing games, and making crafts. I am willing to cook/prepare meals, as well as help with light cleaning. I am dependable, energetic, personable, and honest. I am CPI certified- and know sign language!
