About Emily

As a nanny, teacher, and former day care assistant, I have worked with infants through high school seniors. I love watching kids grow into responsible and thoughtful young people. As a nanny, I have handled feeding, diapers, medication, transportation, school pick-up, activities, and outings. I worked as a certified library teacher for 5 years and a teacher's aide for 2 years. I planned lessons that included reading, writing, visual art, music, science, and history, engaging many aspects of learning. I love reading with kids, and I am an expert in children's literature. I have worked with kids with special needs including autism spectrum and learning disabilities. I know how to build kids' responsibility and how to constructively deal with behavior.
