About Emersen

I am currently out of state finishing up my degree, I plan to be back in the area in May, but am open to one time jobs if you're looking to trial run a caretaker! I am 23 years old and working towards my Bachelors Degree in Special Education. Most recently I worked as a camp Unit Head and have worked as a camp counselor for several years prior. I have particular experience and interest in working with children with special needs, specifically emotional, behavioral and mental health needs, however I am experienced with a range of ages and needs, including medical and physical disabilities. I've worked as a para at an elementary school, an in home daycare, and babysitting regularly. I am also a certified lifeguard and have taught swim lessons. I've driven children I watch before and drove children to and from camp each week this summer. I absolutely love working with kids and always look forward to the adventure they bring!
