I grew up with a special needs foster brother. He was about 8 years older than me, and we were best friends. So, I have always had a soft spot for special needs children. I have also spent many weekends babysitting my cousins. My aunt has 4 kids between the ages of 5 and 10 who all have special needs. The youngest, has cerebral palsy and is tube fed, so I have experience with that as well. I babysit a local family now, only from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m., so I am looking for another special family to take care of in the mornings. Please reach out to me for any questions, concerns, references, etc.

I have four children under ten years of age and Elysha has cared for all of them many times. My husband and I have left the children with Elysha for the weekend. My eldest daughter had epilepsy and my youngest daughter has cerebral palsy and is fed via a g-tube. Elysha asked the appropriate questions and was diligent with their medicines/diets/therapies. Elysha has an incredible balance of being the responsible adult, having the kids follow the rules, consequate behaviors if necessary, and redirect/praise behaviors. Her fun personality comes out when she is playing with the kids/doing crafts/playing games/etc. My children adore Elysha and look forward to seeing her. Any family will be blessed to have Elysha working in their home!
