I recently graduated from the paramedic program at MSU billings. I worked in Lockwood as a firefighter/EMT, and I have over seven years experience as a nanny. I find the job of being a caregiver exciting because it offers the opportunity to brighten someone else's day. Throughout the paramedic program I have gained knowledge and experience with both medical emergencies and complications of chronic illnesses and this experience would give me the skills need to care for someone with illnesses. My mom has several autoimmune diseases and it was always so encouraging when those in charge of her care during her time in the hospital displayed empathy and kindness. I would love to have the opportunity to play that role for a family, bringing encouragement through kindness and quality care.
