In college I had the opportunity to volunteer to help an elderly lady. I cleaned her home, helped her pick up medication, helped her with Christmas cards, did laundry and any other odd jobs she could think of. My allotted time was 2 hours a week but I always stayed closer to 4. I really had fun seeing her. I enjoyed the life stories she shared and her sense of humor. I would love to meet someone elderly and get to know their stores while helping them. While I would like to volunteer again my family could use the extra finances at this time.
