About Elisa

My professional background is in Clinical Social Work--with adults, youth and families for over 20 years, in both medical and mental health care settings; I'm still licensed in the state of Oregon. I'm patient, compassionate, intellectually oriented and bright-spirited by nature. I have a lot of energy for living, am a lover of nature, people, animals, the arts/music, culinary pursuits and on. I've been unable to work in my former field due to sudden hearing loss experienced several years ago, however, I communicate well in quiet environments and am adept at making situations work for me in my current state. I'm seeking part-time work providing companion care/respite services to elders, disabled adults, and/or youth with special needs who may be a good fit for me. I'm willing to do just about anything that may be helpful for you or your loved one-- from errand running, exercising together, to various jobs around the home, organizing, meal prep, light housekeeping, doing projects.... ;)
