I have been working with senior citizens since middle school starting with respite care to helping serve meals at a local community center and delivering meals on wheels. Through college I worked with senior citizens and adults with disabilities from dressing, transfers, cleaning, etc. I would have gotten a minor in gerontology if it was offered at my college! My next goal is to get my nursing home administration license as I would love to build and run my own nursing home someday.
