Elinor is an extraordinary nanny and human being. Our children love her like she is a member of our family. She models empathy on a daily basis, and encourages and motivates our children to try new things. She teaches them the skills to tackle challenges. She has shown them that its safe to have big feelings. She teaches flexibility and resilience. One of our children has special needs and she has learned how to patiently and skillfully meet his needs and help him reach his potential. He trusts her and she loves him. She is also equally skilled at meeting the needs of our typically developing child. She treats both children with respect and is teaching them to respect each other. The only reason we are not working with Elinor now is because we are moving out of state. Any family fortunate enough to work with Elinor will be blessed beyond belief.
