About Elana

I am a lifelong dog-lover who wants to make sure your fluffy family member is well taken care of when you can't be there! I grew up with a Portuguese Water Dog named Max, who passed a few years ago but who left paw prints forever on my heart. In his old age, he became difficult to walk and temperamental. He also started having eye problems and required multiple eye drops a day and various oral medications, so I have had years of experience administering medicine to unenthusiastic canines. I have boarded and walked a variety of breeds other than my old childhood dog. I volunteered at various dog shelters throughout high school and college, making me comfortable with feeding rituals, cleaning, and difficult dogs. For the past 4 years I lived with a sweet Miniature Goldendoodle named Bella and frequently cared for her when my roommate was busy or away. I believe that, in a perfect world, every home would have a dog and every dog would have a home =)
