My name is Eileen and I am a special education teacher with the Bridges Adult Transition Program of Seattle Public Schools, servicing students ages 18-21 with disabilities. I have experience teaching 4th-12th grades. I have worked in both special and general education settings and have taught in several states as well as Central America. I have worked with students with wide-ranging abilities. As Chicago transplant, I have really enjoyed all the outdoor activities the Pacific Northwest has to offer that I was not accustomed to for most of my life. It's beautiful here! I don't even mind the rain! I have lived for about 5 months in both Ireland and Honduras. I love reading, studying languages (particularly ASL and Spanish), going to live theater, hiking, snowshoeing, camping, learning, meeting new people, and traveling!
