Hello everyone! I am recently retired, 59 years old and a grandmother to two beautiful granddaughters who are 8 years old and 5 years old. Since retiring, I have nannied for 3 wonderful families. I totally enjoyed their children and felt good about being able to help working moms. I also spent a school year working in the YMCA after school program where I received CPR and first aid training. I enjoy watching kids learn and grow. Kids are so honest and they make me laugh. I am constantly engaged with the children I watch - helping with homework, baking, doing crafts, shooting hoops, pitching softball, playing Barbies and fairies, singing, dancing, going to the park and other activities. I feel it is important to keep kids active by making activities fun for them. I am very active myself and am not one to sit around. But there is nothing wrong with settling down for an occasional movie when things need to quiet down. While I was still working full-time I did volunteer work as a youth mentor, Sunday school teacher and youth group coordinator. I raised two children as a single parent and fully understand the pressures of working while raising children. I feel that contributing to the welfare of children is one of the most important jobs one can do and I will do my best to provide fun and laughter for your children in a safe and loving environment. You will find me to be flexible and extremely reliable and truly concerned for the welfare of your children and your needs as a family.

We had the pleasure of having Donna care for our two children (6 and 8). Donna was always reliable and responsible. The children love Donna and had so much fun with her. Donna always went above and beyond, doing fun projects with the kids and helping me with household chores. I would not hesitate to leave my children in Donna's constant care! Unfortunately I had a change in my work schedule that caused us to separate. Given the opportunity, we would have Donna back in a heartbeat!
