I possess 10+ years working with children, the last 6 directly with special needs children in a classroom environment. Developing classroom schedules including but not limited to implementing ISP goals as written by social workers for children with developmental disabilities. I worked closely with behavior specialists for implementing disciplinary goals and direction. I helped maintain safety within the classroom. I ran morning circle for special education teacher. I maintained log books and charts for measuring the children's progress. I also attended regular staff development days, team building and renewal of any and certificates of training. I truly enjoy working with children with developmental disabilities, teaching them to care for themselves and assisting them in developing to their maximum potential. It is my heart's passion.
