About Diane

I've always had cats in our home, sometimes more than one, and sometimes elderly. My current pet, Benjamin, is 17 years old. I assist my husband with giving subcutaneous fluid twice a week. My personality is sincere and reliable. I have a Master's Degree in Counseling and a background in HR. I listen attentively and respond. It's a privilege to care for an animal, a child or a senior in need of care. I started working with animals when a friend needed care over two week intervals for her 21-year-old cat and their fish. I taught exercise for 5 years at the wonderful Osborn Independent Living in Rye. I care for 70 houseplants, volunteer, garden, hike, and exercise. I worked for the Rye YMCA for 14 years. I currently teach fitness classes for seniors at Rye Recreation and I'm certified to teach, and I practice, yoga daily. My skills include grooming long haired cats, adhering to nutrition needs of pets, and caring for cats, dogs, children and seniors.
