This past year I nannied a 10-year-old girl with Asperger's. I picked her up from school and accompanied her to various after school activities in addition to arranging play-dates for her. I acted as a chaperone to encourage good social skills and to act as a subtle reminded whenever she needed it. In addition, I planned outings after school that I knew fit her interests and would encourage her hobbies (i. e. sewing, weaving, the textile arts).

Diane is a great caretaker who is punctual, thoughtful and very dependable. Diane took care of our oldest daughter, picked her up from school and took her to various after school activities. Diane is very proactive and would remind me of appointments that I might had forgotten. She would also schedule activities for my daughter when there was nothing planned. Diane also helped with my younger two also at times, with homework or special projects. Diane is definitely someone I would recommend, especially if you need someone with experience working with kids with special needs.
