I am a teacher in Katy ISD. I taught 1st grade for 3 years and 3rd grade for 1 year. Looking for a fun summer job where I can still interact with kids! Even though those are the only grades I taught, my certification is from Early Childhood to 6th grayde! I love teaching and caring for kids which is why I would be a perfect babsitter/tutor. I am especially good at developing kids' passion for math and reading. I am currently in charge of the Read, Deed, Run program at our school where we teach kids the importance of healthy lifestyle, giving back to your community and always challenging yourself academically. With children, it is all about developing those relationships. So I can also be fun when needed! I am creative and love to dance! I am also Colombian and speak Spanish fluently. I was a swimmer for 15 years and swam in College at UT. I am here to help out in whichever way I can!

Diana has been absolutely excellent for our two kids, she has primarily worked as a tutor coming for 3 hours twice a week working with our 5 and 7 year old. Her teaching expertise has been ideal to help our kids continue to learn through the summer during this crazy pandemic. She has been flexible in helping out outside of teaching hours as well as we have needed it. We couldn't ask for a better fit!
