I graduated with my bachelor's at Radford University majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders, also minored in American Sign Language. I am currently obtaining my Master's in Speech-Language Pathology at Jacksonville University. I was a seasonal employee at a day center for kids with special needs in Virginia, and a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant at a private clinic called ACME Therapies Co. I have a huge passion for kids and love to educate communities on the talents and capabilities children have, as well as provide a sense of worth and importance for the kids who are in my care. For 4 years I was a part of BBBS, a mentoring program for at-risk youth. I spent 6 months in the Philippines helping with a non-profit called, HOPE Worldwide, assisting in early childhood development. I am active, creative, enjoy animals of all kinds, enjoy the arts, and love being in the outdoors. Resume and references available upon request!
