My childhood friend's younger sister was born with low functioning Down syndrome, and as she was like a sister to me as well, I spent a lot of time with her growing up. She really opened my eyes at a young age how wonderfully optimistic, loving, courageous, and spirited individuals with special needs are. I have always enjoyed working with diverse groups of people. I received my bachelors degree in Public Health from OSU. I also hold a current CNA license, as well as CPR and First Aid. I am in the process of applying to Nursing School, as I would like to continue caring for people of all backgrounds. I am a quick learner who is very compassionate, patient and reliable. I absolutely love working with children and I would be thrilled to experience working with special needs children, as I feel they possess such a bright outlook on life that is captivating. I look forward to meeting you and your family.
