I Retired in March 31st of 2017, from a successful 27 year career. In 2012 my Mom began showing signs of Alzheimer's/Dementia, her disease was very fast moving. It was our goal to keep her at home, I was her Primary Caregiver for the next 3 years of hard core care while trying to continue to work full time. It was then that I realized my true calling of taking care of people in need at home, and I knew this was what I wanted to do when I retired. In April 2017 I began taking care of a women in Concord with late stage Alzheimer's, and continued to do that 3 days a week until her passing in Dec of 2018. In Jan of 2019 I began taking care of her husband who had cancer and continued taking care of him until his passing in May of 2020. I also have taken care of 3 other women all with Alzheimer's/Dementia, and all 3 of them are now in a nursing home facility. I am truly a hands on caregiver, I have always treated my clients with the up most respect and dignity.
