I am currently employed part-time by the Sweetwater Union High School district as an Instructional Health Care Assistant.. I have experience assisting in the supervision, instruction and health care needs of special needs teenagers and young adults the for the past 10 years in the school district. I am also a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). I have experience working in home health care and the skilled nursing facility setting assisting clients with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, grooming, transfers, ambulation, feeding or assistance with meals, etc.) while achieving my clients' highest level of independence. My experience as a CNA and working with special needs teens and young adults has taught me the value of patience, tolerance, and acceptance. Personally, the comfort and well being of others is truly rewarding to me. I have realized that this is my passion, therefore I will pursue a career as an Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).

Debbie was most gracious in assisting my grandmother with care. My grandmother is of an advanced age required assistance with care as she was no longer able to to certain things. Debbie always had a very energetic personality and showed a great deal of interest and care that is rare nowadays. I could notice how attentive she was with my grandmother and how genuine she seemed to be there. I was happy knowing that my grandmother had someone there who I trusted and knew was looking out for my grandmother. Sadly my grandmother passed. Debbie was very sweet in showing how much she cared, I will always be grateful for her care and positive attitude. Anyone looking for an honest, caring, hard-working person should meet Debbie. She will be the measure of generosity in my book.
