I am a healthy, active individual with a strong desire to help people with special needs. I enjoy the challenge of caring for others, and I always aim to provide the best care possible for individuals. Doing so has been the most rewarding part of my life thus far! In February of 2015, I began working for a corporate lawyer in downtown Chicago who has muscular dystrophy. Unfortunately, my travel time was an hour everyday, and I desperately needed work that was much closer. Having learned what the field of care-giving was about, I decided to get certified as a nurse assistant in January of 2016. I now work with an individual who is quadriplegic. I've gained a great deal of knowledge about both disabilities, and I aspire to continue learning more about other disabilities. I am currently part-time, and I am open to permanent or as needed care, Monday-Friday.
