I've raised two children at home full-time, while the husband worked up to 18 hours a day. They have moved out, as they are grown, responsible adults now. I'm a fanatic when it comes to a clean and orderly living space. The most touching experience I've had, was caring for a man who was devastated by cancer and needed full-time assistance with general housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, yard work, paying bills, caring for his pets, and driving him to and from treatments. His appreciation was worth more to me than any 9 - 5 hourly paying job, priceless! I love what I do, and go the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction. Currently I am booked solid. But can make exceptions for potential new clients, as long as willing to negotiate a schedule.

I don't usually write reviews if they are going to be negative, but I feel this time it's warranted. I hired Dawn in May of this year after my housekeeper of 7 years retired. We negotiated an hourly wage and determined that it would take 5 hours to clean my home. Overall, I think Dawn did a decent job cleaning, however, she was argumentative over cleaning products and ways in which to deal with certain surfaces in my home. She canceled a cleaning at one point (with notice) and then 2 weeks later when it was time to clean again, she came to the house and because my husband had forgotten to leave her check, she left without doing the job. I did call her and explain that she would always get paid immediately even though someone forgot at the moment to leave a check and convinced her after some discussion that it was unacceptable to not have my house cleaned for a month (after she had canceled the previous cleaning) and she came on a weekend to make up the day. Then last week, I received an email that she was now requiring a 30% raise in hourly wage which she knew very well was not in my budget. I declined to agree with the increase and then had to jump through numerous hoops over a week to get my house key returned. All in all, not a good experience.
