Hello, I'm new to Care. I am an energetic retiree from education, gov't., private and non-profit sectors. I am widowed, with two grown children, - one in college. At this point, I have time to give back and use my experience acquired over the years to help persons in need. I started in Early Childhood education providing instruction to 1st graders. I moved on to provide a range of educational and social services to students with difficulty functioning in a traditional classroom setting. I taught numerous courses, some technical, others in history and government. I was asked to instruct international students, from around the world, as part of an inter-governmental training program. Finally, I mentored and tutored at-risk youth, and veterans.
