In High school I worked as a teacher's aid, I also worked in a daycare/preschool after high school. For 3 years I tutored a group of 8 elementary aged children, although my biggest accomplishment was homeschooling my own children, from pre-k to high school. I have taught 3 little ones how to read, how to write (in cursive & manuscript), to know their world with geography, the importance of history, the wonder in science, and the power of writing, but the most important of all, that learning is life long and shouldn't be something you ever "graduate" from. I don't know it all, but I am always willing to learn, and be the lead learner for a little one who needs help. I currently homeschool my 3 children (middle-high school ages) and would feel most comfortable tutoring an elementary aged child. My dining room is already set up for learning with a white board and my materials, so I would be offering my services in my own home. "Never stop learning, because life never stops teaching."
