I am Daniella M, a Latina woman located in the Bay Area. My hobbies are activism, volunteering, hiking, teaching, making others laugh, and being an ametuer food connoisseur. I am pursuing a double major in Sociology and Human Communications with a Social Innovation and Activism Track with a Women and Gender Studies Minor. Throughout high school, I tutored, supervised, and organized activities for K-12 students as a volunteer inside and outside of my school. I founded and ran a Florida non-profit in South Florida . An organization that focuses on developing the self-esteem and character development of young girls, ages 3-14 years old. I worked with over 400 girls within this program. I developed a curriculum that uses art activities and literature to promote self-esteem based on the Dr. R. Self-Esteem scale.
