I work as a special education paraprofessional, have worked as a respite care provider, and PCA in group homes and assisted living apartments since I was 17 years old. I am now 49 years old. I love working with all ages, from infant to adult, and all abilities. I am very patient, calm, respectful, caring, loving, encouraging, helpful, fun, and attentive. I can teach everyday living skills, social skills, independence, and academics. I work with people who are ambulatory and people in wheelchairs (gait trainer/prone stander/ positioning). I work with people who have feeding tubes, seizures, ASD, ADD, ADHD, FAS, and behavior disorders. I also do some sign language. I work with all bathroom needs. I will work in your home and in the community going to/doing activities, entertainment, shopping, playgrounds, doctor appointments, etc. I will go anywhere and do anything you need me to do or would like me to do with your loved one and make it fun and keep them safe.
