I am experienced working with Alzheimer's patients and those with dementia. I also have experience with those profoundly deaf, blind, ADD/ADHD, diabetic, food allergies, spinal cord injuries, COPD, stroke patients, fibromyalgia, and other types of arthritis. I love to share my life with & care for others, sometimes even spoil them a bit. Even as a young child, I was always caring for my pets and "doctoring" my dolls. My family has always taught us to care for others. My favorite aunt was a nurse and she taught me a lot about home health care. I have volunteered to be the "Safety/First Aid" person in group camping events. I recently graduated top of my class in a Certified Nursing Assistant program, and I am now a fully licensed C. N. A. I enjoy taking care of people - finding out what they like and don't like with food and all other care needs. I enjoy researching how to make meals for special needs and food allergy patients. I find with each new patient I'm constantly learning new skills and techniques. Each patient is unique and I enjoy learning about their needs by talking with family, medical staff and research. Caring is just part of who I am.
