I have had the experience changing diapers, feeding, bathing, and giving medicine to the youngest members of my family. Through my exposure, I have had the opportunity to be aware of the health of children, acknowledging whether they are ill/teething, etc., and "hip" to older teens.
Frequently, I visit with my three youngest members of my family, taking them to the park, reading books, bike riding/and or walking around the block, craft projects, you name it, we do it!
I am an aunt who is very involved with all my nieces and nephews (17-3 years old), we have slumber parties and go on many outing activities together. I often help them with homework and problems they face.
I grew-up in a family with both of my parents(who are still together today). I have four sisters and am the middle child.
I come from a huge family, my father has eight siblings, and my mom seven, imagine the exposure and experience I have had (with more than a hundred cousins and their children). I am a person who is highly involved with my extended family. I see them at most holidays and other special events. I love being connected with family and believe it is very important.
