Growing up, my grandmother lived with my parents and I. We were very close and we spent a lot of time talking and laughing. You obtain a lot of wisdom from taking time to listen to the older generations. My mother had many health problems and I helped my father take care of her for many years (10+ years), in addition to being a full time mom. A few years after she passed away, my daddy got cancer. I took care of him until he passed away two years later. Now that my daughter has grown up and both of my parents have passed away, I am looking for a Senior Caregiver position. I have always felt that is very important to take care of the elderly because one day we will all become old and need a helping hand.
