I returned east to help my senior parents and maintain the house. I realize that besides having worked in an orphanage, at camps and having been a teacher I also have done a lot of babysitting, caring for other seniors and odd-jobs. I was a certified child care worker and maintained that certification in the 80's. I toured the country extensively and have logged a lot of miles with NO violations and NO accidents of any kind and have driven bus and trucks as well as modified vans. I'm a great cook and have been asked to pinch hit for friends who can't make it home from the office in time to feed the family. At one point I was provisionally certified as an electrician (yellow contract for theatre). I am handy, paint, do carpentry, laundry and -- YES, I do windows. Having had a practice in hypnotherapy I am great with pain management, ADD, and relaxation techniques. I'll play almost any game (but am not into sports) and I enjoy conversation and a good sense of humor. I am an accomplished pianist. I have had friends with CP, MD, MS, Downs, Speech and hearing difficulties and blindness. I myself had Vestibular Ataxia from a tumor and have some hearing loss in one ear..
