I've been a tutor for adult inmates in the Alexandria detention center seeking to get their GEDs for the past 2 years. I work with them for an hour a week, assisting them with their math, English, reading comprehension, social studies, and more. They are preparing for the GED exam, so we use their workbooks to guide the tutoring. Note: this is a volunteer position and I am not paid. I've also helped my younger sister with her high school classes, have helped countless kids during babysitting with homework, and more. I'm comfortable assisting in all grade levels, with any subject! I have the most experience with basic math, but am great with reading comprehension, grammar, and more. I do have some fluency in French, and know very very basic Spanish.
