About Cindy

Cindy worked with our family for about a year and a half. She put up with many stressful situations my life threw our way and she handled them with grace. Cindy is great with a toddler-age busy child who wants to explore and find excitement in the world around them. She does very well with toddler-led engagement and finding creative ways to stimulate learning outside. Cindy has a tendency to do things fast which is perfect for keeping up with a rambunctious little one. She worked 8-4 M-Th. in a non-structured environment with one child. We did not allow screen-time and instead encouraged outside play, reading, and discovery. Cindy cares deeply which is evident in her wonderful care for our daughter but sometimes brought outside emotions with her to work. My husband and I are pretty particular and she needed to be reminded of things we asked of her. I am big on feedback and being open and honest - Cindy was amazing at telling me when something was wrong or if she made a mistake, this is so important in a nanny! In my opinion, Cindy lacks confidence and often second-guesses herself or takes things personally which caused me to be more cautious of things I would say and sometimes hindered the openness but she did a great job of checking in with me to ensure we were on the same page with my daughter; learning objectives, crafts that week, behavioral correction/redirect, etc. Overall, we are so grateful for the time, care, and blessings Cindy brought to our family.
