This caregiver called and reported being sick two weeks ago. I haven't been able to get in touch with her via telephone or text messaging. She is not returning my calls, and has left me in a really stressful situation. I have am absent from work today because I do not have a caregiver for my child. Initially I thought we were working out okay, but she did not even have the courtesy to inform me that she was quitting! When I listed the position I did specify that this was part time, so I am not sure if the hours did not suit her. However I am hoping that she has recovered from her illness. I am really interested in closure. I need to file for caregiver services on my income tax and I didn't even get her social security number.
