I volunteered at Mission Road Development (A center with all ages and stages of mentally and physically challenged individuals.) I have worked in a diabetes clinic. When working at a Catholic school, I had some students who had ADD and ADHD. I have taken Child Development courses, which included special needs. When I worked in the hospital, I drew blood for Down's syndrome and autistic children. I have a friends with special needs children. I am certified in CPR and as a medical assistant. I have taken care of newborns to elder. I worked with special needs at Mission Road and the Arc. I have worked in a day care, mother day out at church and helped out at my friends. I too have worked as a teacher, aide, and a sub with a Catholic school. (pre-k up to 8th grade) I am also the 2nd oldest in the family, so I helped take care of my siblings, and an aunt. I babysat in the neighborhood while growing up as well.
