I graduated with my Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology and my minor in Sociology in June 2010. While in college I volunteered at my church as a youth leader for over 2 years working directly with at-risk youth ranging in ages from 12-19. I also have continued to volunteer as a Sunday preschool teacher for the past four years working twice a month with children ages 2 to 5. While in college I was a nanny for two boys ages 3 and 5 for a friend from my church 5 days a week while she and her husband were at work. I drove them to and from school, prepared meals, completed daily chores and housework, and cared for the children 8 hours each day. I have experience tutoring teens in a variety of different subjects. Once I graduated from college I received employment as a Case Manager at a non profit agency working directly with pregnant teens ages 11 to 21 for roughly 8 months until the program lost funding from the state. After that job ended I received training as a part time Behavior Therapist for autistic children working in Valencia, CA. I am currently working as an Administrative Assistant/Intake Worker for a Foster Family Agency. I work directly with placing children, monitoring birth family visits, and maintaining client records. I have plenty of experience working with children of all ages and the educational experience from my degree. I am currently CPR/First Aid certified. My passion is working with children and love to nanny. I also have a dog and a cat whom I adore; and am comfortable taking care of animals. I am willing to get the job done, responsible, trustworthy, and fun loving with children.

Julie S. Interviewed Cheyanne
Apr 1, 2012
I interviewed Cheyanne. She has all the qualities that would make a good caregiver. Although I hired another caregiver I had been in contact with early in my search, I know Cheyanne would be a good candidate. She expressed to me her love for children, her dedication to their well-being, and the fact her schedule was so flexible made her even more attractive.
She would be a smart choice.
