I am currently employed as a caregiver at a senior living facility in Tuolumne county. I have been working for the facility full time for 2 years and am looking for a job to pull in some extra money and fill some empty time in my daily schedule. I am available Monday-Friday (I work 40 hours every weekend). I am a CNA, EMT, and certified in adult/infant/child CPR. I am also currently working towards a degree in nursing at our local community college and hope to some day specialize in labor and delivery.
I love caring for people of all ages, with all types of needs. I have about 3 years of work experience caring for elderly with Alzheimer's/dementia. I love caring for children, especially infants and toddlers. Like most young girls, I have had plenty experience with baby sitting as I was going through high school and beyond. I am constantly being called upon by friends and family for help and I love it! I do not have any of my own children yet but do want children in the future. I have no formal babysitting "on the books", but I have plenty of references that would be willing to give me a good word. I also took an early childhood development course in high school and spent my entire senior year as a teacher assistant for a kindergarten class.
I am flexible with my schedule as long as it doesn't clash with my current job. I am willing to work during the day or night or even extended periods of time. I can transport children to school and extracurricular activities or run errands. I'd love to provide my services to a family in need and look forward to forming a lasting bond. Thank you for your time and consideration.
