About Chelsea

I'm an early interventionist and special needs educator with over nine years of experience supporting children with diverse learning needs. I began my career in Singapore in 2017 and have since worked across home, school and community settings with students aged 3 to 18. I've supported learners with autism, down syndrome, global developmental delay (GDD), ADHD, speech and language delays, and behavioral challenges. I specialize in teaching reading and phonics, early literacy and numeracy skills, and life and social skills. I also have experience providing online tutoring and enjoy adapting lessons to fit each student's learning style and interests. My teaching style is structured, and highly individualized. I believe in purposeful practice, helping students build confidence through repetition, while also knowing when they're ready to take the next step toward independence.
