About Charlie

A+ Tutoring: I am an A+ tutor who has been doing private tutoring in homes the last 10 years. In the last few years, my concentration has been helping students pass the dreaded standardized tests in schools (i. e. TAAS test, TAKS test, and STAAR test) as well as sharpening their Writing, Spanish, Reading, Phonics, Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science skills to the point of mastery! Background: I am a currently a Supplemental Outreach Counselor in a school district in NW Houston. I am a certified teacher as well, and I have been in the education field for 27 years now (12 years as a teacher and 15 years as a Counselor). I have taught elementary school (Pre-K, kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade), middle school (Math), high school (English), and I was an adjunct college instructor at a small community college. Seeking a Tutoring Student: I am currently seeking to assist (1) one client/student with their homework, problematic areas in Writing, Spanish.
