Please Note: Available for full-time or one-time-only "Live-In" positions :-) I have a total of 22 years (paid/unpaid) hands-on experience caring for the elderly with COPD, early-onset dementia to late-stage Alzheimer's, kidney issues (leading to dialysis), type 1/2 diabetes (requiring insulin), stroke/heart issues with side effects, neuropathy, hypertension, parkinsons, arthritis, scoliosis, TIA's and sleep apnea. Very well-versed in medication management, & Hoyer Lifts. I previously worked for 26 years as an IT Professional (in the cleared world). Transitioned to healthcare in September 2017. My objective as a caregiver is to help my client(s) remain in their homes during their senior years, in a safe, enriching, and very clean, "COVID-free" environment. I aim to be that extra set of hands, eyes, and ears - needed to assist with their activities of daily living, seamlessly and satisfactorily. My work ethic gives new meaning to the phrase, "Going above and beyond the call of duty."
