Excellent care-giving, to me, is defined by genuine, enthusiastic, and selfless concern for the needs of those who depend upon me. I have been a caregiver now for 10 years, and have had the pleasure of working with both women and men of all ages and abilities, primarily within the home setting. I experience great satisfaction in my work, and feel an unmatched joy as I get to know my clients. Clients who quickly become like family. I take great pride in my responsibilities, and when it comes to the advocacy of those I care for, my expectations are no less than what I would expect for my own loved ones, that is, only the best level of care; care that is compassionate and diligent - care that fosters a sense of gentleness, warmth, and independence. I am currently finishing my bachelor's degree in human development and family studies, with a minor in gerontology. My primary motivators in life are a love of my neighbor, and a genuine interest to get to know the very best in people.
