I have been a companion/caregiver since 2017 for ladies with dementia. I love dogs & cats. I love to cook and am an excellent cook. I will do light housework, laundry, grocery shopping, errands, take to Dr appointments, movies etc . I am very patient, compassionate, trustworthy. dependable, funny and love to chat and I am really good with redirecting. I really understand/connect with people with dementia. I took care of my dad for 15 years (he had dementia) I was a stay at home Mum for my two children (who are both adults). I wanted to find a job that I was passionate about and I did! I currently work Monday & Tuesday with Marie who I have been with since 11-17 Marie lived alone until last January I was with her 4 days a week ( she lived 15 minutes from me) she had to move in with her daughter who lives an hour+ (one way) l am looking for approximately 10-15 hours... 2-3 days (or an overnight) I'm not able to shower, lift or toilet as I have a bad back References available upon request

Cathy has provided care for my 95-year-old mother, who is dealing with dementia, for over six years.
