I have worked as a paraprofessional for Special needs children for 15 years while getting my Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management and my Master's in Education. I am a fully-licensed Intervention Specialist. I worked for 2 years running the ED (Emotionally Disturbed) Unit at Norwood City Schools. Since then, I spent 4 years teaching students with Autism at a small private school, Skyward Academy. I have a Highly Qualified reading endorsement and have been trained in the Orton-Gillingham reading method. Now, I would like to retire from the actual classroom and work 1:1 with students who need extra help. I have taught many students with a wide variety of disabilities, as well as typical, non-disabled students. I still hold a current license.
