About Castalia

Hi, I have an Associate Degree in General Education-Early Childhood Development, 14 ECE units, (Early Child Education), from City College of SF, and I am CPR Certified. I drive my own car, and have a clean DMV record. I have spent most of my life caring for children. Children mean the world to me. I feel responsible as a caregiver to provide the best care with love so I can help them become healthy young adults. I work with them step by step as they grow and feel it is important to create an environment of security and respect. It is with my head and my heart that I approach my work as a caregiver. The most important developmental years are the first three. Infants and toddlers have the same mental and emotional needs as adults do: to be heard and seen, which leads to building self confidence and high self esteem. It is up to each child's parents, with the support of involved caregivers, to help meet these needs. I love children deeply, as pure, innocent young people who are very special in our world. This is why I have dedicated my life to this career.
