I enjoy spending time with with people of all ages and varieties of needs. The infirm and elderly at my current health care job have been a delight to work with. Most have extreme physical and/or memory conditions due to special needs or illness. I bring a calm presence and caring smile. Playing games, doing activities, having conversations, coloring, going for short walks or even shopping are all things I've enjoyed with them. I'm more than willing to learn new skills! I was a stay at home mother for 10 years. I cared for my own children as well as several other children with a variety of allergies, digestive issues and physical limitations. I love and support the tenacity of children who don't let limitations stop them! *I can work around dogs and birds, but have allergies to cats, rabbits and barnyard animals.
