About Cassandra

I love spending time with children because their perspective reminds me to welcome curiosity and play. Over the years, I have been a babysitter for at least a dozen children ranging from the ages of newborn to 13 years old. During that time, I have changed diapers, prepared meals, enforced bed times and even managed home security systems. There have been excursions to the pool, arts and crafts time, and lots of playtime, inside and outdoors. I have been employed a daycare assistant, a summer camp counselor and as a staff person for Wilderness Youth Project in Santa Barbara. I am passionate about helping kids of all ages deepen their connection to nature and have seen how beneficial it can be. Some of my favorite ways to play are creating new worlds, reading, and being outside. I also have extensive experience tutoring and teaching children of all ages. I am happy to cook, clean, run errands, and I especially love caring for pets.
