I was in 4-H for nine years and raised my own animals for the yearly fair and auction, so I am experienced with a larger array of animals other than just domestic dogs and cats. I have also assisted at a breeders' Kennel for about four years with everything from bottle feeding orphaned puppies to caring for and administering treatments to a parvo infected litter< which by the way, I managed to save 5 of the 8 puppies, when statistics predictic a less than 11% percent survival level if infected, especially in the first 12 weeks of life.
