My passion is for working with special needs clients and animals. I am also an experienced house cleaner in my spare time that can provide references and a current clean BCI. I am Praxis certified to implement programs in a classroom or home based setting under the main teacher. I am highly competent, caring and honest. I give my all to all the jobs throughout the years I have worked with. I have a dynamic personality along extreme punctuality, ability to multitask. Provided 1:1 support to students in units, implementation and the monitoring of students individual programs as assigned working with families or in residential settings. I worked on programs with staff, employees and students in the classroom or community sites. Implementation of recreational programs to residential students. I provide in home behavior therapy training to families of children with behavior and emotional disorders. I worked with adults with Autism and other developmental disabilities in the classroom, group homes, along with pass and respite work. I planned skill area program plans using a daily schedule. I provide physical intervention as necessary to promote health and safety while encouraging skill development and independence. Data collection, report writing and analysis. I was also the vocational liaison for my classroom. I assisted people with disabilities to be as independent as possible. I assisted with household chores, yard work, laundry medication distribution, accompanied them on doctors appointments, took them to church and other activities of their choice. I worked on hygiene along with showering and toileting and safety skills. I prepared meals according to their diet plans, fire safety drills, grocery shopping along with handling all their personal needs shopping. Throughout the different seasons, I would make sure the area around the house was shoveled and the vehicle was cleared off. During the fall, I would rake leaves for their safety in case it rained so they would not fall and slip. I also provided redirection as necessary and empathy when needed.
