We hired Lindsey and from day 1 she was napping (we have cameras). She napped while my 1 year old was napping and my 5 year old was playing on the tablet. My husband and I decided to cut her some slack and see how things went. Not only did she continue to nap, but she did not interact with the kids other than ensuring their basic needs were met. With her napping, she was at least waking when the baby sounded on the monitor. My husband spoke to her and cut her down to once a week. At this point we had found a replacement but still gave her a chance. That same day I watched on the camera while the baby woke up and was awake for 30 minutes before Lindsey woke. Our dog even nudged her twice. At one point, the baby got tired of asking to be retrieved and tried to go back to sleep. I had to notify my boss and go home for the day and sent her home. Would not recommend.
